Poppies are beautiful when they are blooming, but I think I like the seed heads as much, if not more. The composition they create seems very skeletal and spare. I would like to make some drawings of them (I'm posting the drawing idea as a challenge to myself!).

Oh, the seedhead from the poppy has always been one of my favorites. I actually did a monoprinting last Friday of a cut out of several seed heads. It was my first attempt at monoprinting, but I think I can work on the fabric to make an art piece out of it. Let me know what you do with your drawing.
